Brow  Aftercare Instructions

3D Hair Strokes / Combo Eyebrows Aftercare

For 7 – 10 days following application of semi permanent cosmetics:

APPLIES TO ALL CLIENTS:

• Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers, they may have bacteria on them and create an infection. 

• During the first 48 hours, we ask that clients DO NOT do anything with their eyebrows. We ask that they be left alone to allow the wounds to close.  No washing or oil application during this time.

• Some dryness and scabbing will be experienced, and this is perfectly normal.  DO NOT PICK OR PEEL.

• NO makeup on the eyebrows, tinting of the brows, sun, soap, sauna, steam, exercise, jacuzzi, swimming in chlorine pools or in the ocean for 7 – 10 days 

SUPPLEMENTS TO STOP AND TIME FRAMES  

• 7 days before: alcohol, coffee, fish oil, omega 3, vitamin E, ginkgo, garlic supplements, ginseng, St John’s Wort, aspirin, ibuprofen

• 48 hours before: caffeine, alcohol, heavy workouts

• 7 days after: alcohol, fish oil, omega 3, vitamin E, blood thinners, intense sweating

• DO NOT RUB or traumatize the area while it is healing, pigment may be removed along with crusting tissue.

• NO Neosporin, A A&D ointment, Vaseline or Aquaphor

• Understand that everyone’s skin is completely different. Your skin may reject the ink in certain places requiring you to get a touch up appointment after brows have fully healed.  Additional touch ups after initial procedure may be required to fully lock in pigment to certain areas of the brows.

• No washing the brows during the ENTIRE 7 – 10 day healing period. 

DRY SKINNED CLIENTS 

• Apply oil over your brow area 1 time per day after the 48 hours are over to help with scabbing. Suitable natural oils which we recommend are:

•   Grape seed oil, Sweet Almond oil , Jojoba oil Coconut Oil – absorbs into skin without build up

OILY SKINNED CLIENTS 

• Your aftercare is very simple.  Leave the eyebrow area alone to heal for the following 7 – 10 days, no washing, touching, picking or pulling at the dryness or scabs, and no applying oil.  Let everything heal on its own.

Following ALL of the aftercare instructions will yield the best result possible and increase the longevity of the pigment.  ENJOY YOUR BROWS!
